The Tear Down Process:
During the tear down process, we will strip the machine down to the frame, removing all the
moving parts, including (but not limited to): idler rollers, bearings, motor, gear boxes, and tape heads. Separating
all the components of the case taper, and prepping for the refinishing process.
Our State of the Art Refinishing:
When the machine is moved into our refinishing area, the frame and all removable accessories are sanded and
any signs of corrosion are inspected and repaired by applying a rust inhibiting stainless steel coating,
making your machine look and run like new again.
Re-Assembly Process:
After the machine has undergone a complete tear down, sanded and refinished it is ready for the most critical
phase, Re-Assembly. It is during this phase that all of the rollers, bearings, and worn parts are
replaced and installed. The motor and gear box are sent out for testing and repaired or replaced
if needed. Depending on the option you choose, your machine may be fitted with brand new tape heads.
Final Tests and Adjustments:
Prior to being considered complete, each unit under goes a "Live" operational test. We will
run boxes thru the machine, making sure the belts track properly, the tape heads are functioning correctly
and the machine is ready for our "Rebuilt by Seal" applied to it. Your machine can end up looking like the one
