or machine length tape (1000, 1500 yard rolls).
Carton sealing tapes can be used for many different applications, but it is mainly used for sealing boxes, whether manually applied
via a hand tape dispenser or
automatically applied by a box taping machine.
Carton sealing tape many uses, but it is used primarily to secure your shipping boxes to provide
box integrity. Tamper evident carton sealing tapes provide a quick visual check to limit product
tampering or even theft. Custom printed tapes are available in colors or printed with your logo
for product enhancement and can applied manually or automatically by a
box taping machine.
Water activated (Gummed) carton sealing tape (WAT) is normally brown (tan) or white in color
and is available with reinforced fiberglass strings for heavy packages. The adhesive is activated
by running the length of tape over a wetting surface (sponge) and then applying it directly to your
package. The adhesive sets in a matter of seconds and provides a strong bond for safe shipment.
Manual or electric water activated tape dispensers
provide a quick method of dispensing a pre-measured
piece of tape that is automatically fed through a wetting agent and cut to the desired length.
Humidity and temperature can have a direct impact on the application process of certain types of carton
sealing tapes. Knowing which adhesive you should use for you application is critical to the stability
